With great sorrow in our hearts, we announce the passing of our dear brother Joseph Dean Post. He left this life and is now living freely walking with our mother Marlene Dell, grandfather Elmer Evink and many other family members and pets that proceeded him. He has parted from his three sisters, Diana Vescoso, Lisa Dell and Sarah Dell, His niece Skye Marlene, his nephew Jonathan Bongers, his father Allen Dell, his uncles; Don Evink, Dean Evink, Ron Evink, and Duane Evink, several aunts and cousins, friends he considered to be brothers, Ian Pershing and Ricky Thompson, friends new and old, and his dog Alouicious "Louie" (Alouicious Devadander Ambecrombie Post)-That's long for MUD.
Joe drove semi for many of his adult years as well as a taxi driver. He enjoyed meeting new people. He was the master of the road with a kind soul who would help anyone in need if he knew they were struggling. His heart of gold trumped his greatest weaknesses.
Joe had a witty sense of humor and did the best and funniest impressions that would have you laughing for days. He loved all facets of music from singing, to playing, to listening, and enjoying concerts. He also loved archery, shooting guns, karate, giving yoga a go, pool, backgammon, blackjack, camping, and getting his permit to ride motorcycles. He also loved fantasy and science fiction movies and books.
Joe will be missed dearly. His celebration of life and barbeque will be on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 starting at 3:00pm, at 429 E Franklin St. Otsego, MI 49078. Service Details.
