Joseph Francis Mutnansky, 63, of Gobles, Michigan, passed away on November 3, 2025 in his home. Joe was born on April 26, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank J. Mutnansky and Anne Mutnansky.

Joe graduated from Brother Rice High School in 1980 and went on to work at Berry Plastics. He later moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan and worked at Fabri-Kal as a printer and a maintenance technician.

Joe married Melissa on February 10, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Mutnansky, his daughter Sarah Black (Michael) and two grandchildren, Tyler and Abigail; his siblings, Bob (Penny), Janyce Shields, John (Karen), Joyceanne (Dan Kidd), Jim (Jeannette), Jeff (Chris), He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank J. and Anne Mutnansky, and his brother- in-law George Shields.

Joe loved museums. He loved antiques and anything to do with history. He loved to travel. He also loved space and actually built his own telescope. He loved Chicago. The Berghoff was his favorite restaurant. He enjoyed country life as well in his later years.

A small memorial service with a light luncheon following will be held at Rectify Church on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice in Allegan, Michigan.
