John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Gerda; son's and grandchildren, Ron (Dakota and Michelle), René and Kayelyn (Grace), James and Lori (Leland, Lucas, Kira). Mass of Christian will be held 1:30 PM, Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1935 Plymouth, SE, with Father Troy Nevins, Celebrant . The family will greet friends and relatives Friday from 6-8PM in the Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave. SE. A rosary will be recited at 7:30PM. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
