Richard "Joey" Joseph Lee II of Grant, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 18, 2021.
Joey was born August 31,1984, he was the first born child to Joe and Katy Lee. Joey graduated from Grant High School in 2003. He did a tour with the U.S. Navy then worked as a laborer, putting all of his amazing talents to use.

He touched the lives of anyone he crossed paths with and made a huge impact on many every day of his life! He always had a very animated story to tell.

He was an amazing man and loved his family and friends with his whole heart. Joey loved teaching his daughters, Cora and Charlotte as well as his nephews, Joey and Miles, "things" - good, bad and everything in between. He loved knives almost as much as he loved his family and would give anything he had to anyone in need - no questions asked. His girls are his pride and joy!

Joey is survived by his mother Katy, the mother of his girls Nichole Cahoon, his two beautiful daughters Cora (12) and Charlotte (8). His sisters Jessica (Jeff) Whaley, nephews Joey and Miles. Sister Caitlin (Keith) Marvin, niece Avalynn and many loving Aunts and Uncles, cousins and friends.

Greeting him in Heaven are his father, Richard Joseph Lee "Big Joe" and all of his grandparents.

We take great comfort knowing that a few weeks before his passing he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at The Well Church, 3661 Poinsettia Avenue SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508. The family will have a visiting hour for family and friends prior to the service at 11:00 am with service following at 12:00 pm; Ray Putmon presiding.
