Joey Delvalle, 52, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 4th, 2019. Joey was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Anderson and his mother, Peggy Jamieson. He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Kim-Anh Thi Vu; sons, Anthony Delvalle and Marcus Delvalle; step-daughter, Staci Chesebro (husband Terry Chesebro and son Dylan Chesebro); step-son, Hong-An Vu; father, Reynal Delvalle; siblings, Yolanda Skusa, Reynaldo Delvalle, Orlando Delvalle, Sandra Delvalle, Maria Delvalle, and Elizabeth Delvalle. Joey was an outdoors guy. He loved fishing and camping. His friends and family remember him as a man who was always helping others. He was a faithful Catholic all his life. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, March 9th at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1253 52nd Street, Kentwood, Father Peter Vu officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM with a Rosary Service at 7 PM at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, Michigan.
