Joe N. VandenWyngaard, 86, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Julianne, son Arthur, daughter Marguerite, granddaughter Grace Madison, sister Anne Bakker, special family friend, Joyce Schouten and several nieces and nephews. Following Joe's wishes, cremation has taken place and the family with gather for a private celebration of his life in the near future. The family wishes to thank the staff of Mercy Health-St. Mary's and the caregivers of Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
