Carr, Joe Robert Age 79, passed away April 6, 2016 after a year long faith-filled fight with cancer. Joe served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years and later graduated from Avila College in KC, MO. His career included management positions in the transportation industry, as well as a sheltered workshop for the disabled. He was a master woodworker and enjoyed participating in many sports. Most of all, he loved the Lord Jesus Christ and served him faithfully by ministering to others. He is predeceased by his parents, Earl and Ella Carr and 6 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carolyn; children, Troy (Carrie) Carr, Chris (Janey) Carr and Stacey Workman (Dave Dreher); 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister, Bonnie. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute to Grace Bible Church/Benevolence Fund or Faith Hospice. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, April 16 at 2:00 pm at Grace Bible Church, Grandville, MI.
