Jody Hard, a lifetime resident of West Michigan, passed away at the age of
60 on Saturday, August 5, 2023 after a battle with Huntington's disease.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Toni Hard; his 4 children Melinda,
Katie, Christopher, and Samantha; his Mother Louise Hanford; sister Sandra
Woodmansee; and 5 grandchildren: Connor, Nolan, Mason, Austin, and
Meadow. He is predeceased by his father Sam, brother Randy, and sister
Diana who were also afflicted with Huntington's disease.

Jody was a quiet and shy guy until he got to know you; but if he did, he would talk extensively on
his interests which included: fishing, bowling, Detroit Lions football, Detroit Tigers baseball and 80's hair
bands. He loved spending time with his family and having family game nights.

He was born to Willard (Sam) Hard and Louise Hanford on February 8, 1963, in Hastings, MI
where he grew up. He was a graduate of Hastings High School class of 1981 and held an associate
degree.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Friday August 11th from 5-8pm at Ofield Funeral
Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI 49508.
