Jessica Eleanor (VandenToorn) Keeney, 44, Wyoming, MI, passed away April 7, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of James A Keeney. Born Dec 23, 1971, daughter of James E. VandenToorn, and Pamela Rae Traetz, step daughter to Lon A.Thompson. Sister to Lona & Sarah (Adam) Thompson, Jeff, Angela, Tammy and Jamie VandenToorn Mother of Kyle Annarino, Amy Howley, Justin H, and Step mother to LeeAnn Keeney. She is preceded in death by her mother and brother Jamie. Beloved niece, cousin, aunt, grandmother, and friend to so many. Jessica filled her days with the art of mixed media, and steampunk, magical, and many creative themed projects, and paintings. She attended many of the local festivals in Grand Rapids, MI. Sharing her ideas and creations with every single person. She enjoyed filling people's lives with awe and imagination through her talented hand at creating her enchanting works of art. Giving insight to her view of the world, was one thing she had perfected to her eye, skills, and in anyone's hearts that has ever seen, or owned a piece of her legacy. Jessica always loved to share her stories of her life, share time with friends and family, and never left anyone without a smile. She loved life, and for this, most everyone in her presence did as well. A positive, warm, STRONG woman, with as big a heart as her hugs.
