Jerry Allan Latta Jr. (Jay), age 34, passed away suddenly on June 05, 2024. Jay was born on May 9, 1990 in Plainwell to Jerry Latta Sr. and Ellen Latta (Cobb). Throughout Jay's high school years he was active in football, wrestling, baseball, and the diving team. Jay graduated from Otsego High School in 2008.

Jay was engaged to the love of his life, Natasha. Jay was proud of the life he, Natasha, and his bonus son John had built together. In 2021, they welcomed their daughter Olivia into the world. Jay was a kind, caring and loving man. His contagious smile would light up a room, his warm, loving hugs could comfort any person. Jay was truly a great person, wonderful fiancé, and an amazing father. Jay will be deeply missed by many.

Jay is survived by his fiancée, Natasha; stepson, John; daughter, Olivia; brother, Nate (Christa) Cobb; sister, Amber (Ray) Hoyt; nephew, Tyler; niece, Ellie; uncles, Donnie (Sue) Latta, Steve (Jeannie) Latta; many cousins and friends. Jay was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Latta Sr., and mother, Ellen (Cobb) Latta.
