Jerry Gene Adams was born June 26, 1940 and passed away on January 10, 2025. Jerry is survived by wife Mary Geneva Adams, his daughter Kimberly Sue Effenheim with husband John Effenheim and grandson James "Jimmy" Miller; and his two sons Barry Lee Adams with grandson Hunter Adams, and Jeremy Scott Adams with wife Erin Adams and two step children Zander and Emma Holbrook; and his brother Glynn Rae Adams with wife Debra Adams.

Jerry was a God loving man, dedicating most of his life to his congregations and their ministry. Jerry adamantly regarded his spiritual congregations and every single member of them as his extended family, and would do anything he could to help anyone that needed him. An avid fisherman, a dutiful father and husband, a beloved spiritual brother, and all around one of the best people we all are grateful to know. He'll be kept with us in our hearts forever, and will be remembered as a man that shared his hopes for the future with everyone he met, as written in Revelations 21:3, and 4: "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne: 'Look! The tent of God is with mankind and he will reside with them and we will be his people. And God himself will be with them.' And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor  outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
