Jerome "Jerry" Krenselewski passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024. He was a graduate of Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School class of 1952, and of Central Michigan and Michigan State Universities. He served in the Army National Guard. He taught biology and physiology at Catholic Central and later became a guidance counselor. He coached football, cross country, track, tennis, and men's and women's swimming and diving. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on the parish board and served as a eucharistic minister. He loved photography, playing the accordion and keyboard, camping, and travel.

Jerome is survived by his wife of 67 years, Blanche (Despres); children, Joseph Krenson (Kelly), Jacqueline Hamilton (Steve), John Krenselewski (Luke); granddaughters, Danica Krenson, Brianna Brotherton (Nathan); and many numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School.

Visitation will be held on December 17, 2024 at 10am with Mass at 11am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1935 Plymouth Ave SE, Grand Rapids, 49506.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
