Jeri Lynn Alward, age 58, of Grandville, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, with her children by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Flaherty; brother, Michael Davis; and father, James Davis. Jeri was born on May 22, 1964, in Grand Rapids and spent her life living in Grandville. Jeri was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to those who knew her. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jeri had a zest for life! She loved being outside, whether it was relaxing on the beach in Florida or just playing with her grandkids in the yard. She was blessed with a servant's heart and always put others before herself. Jeri was passionate about the healthcare industry and spent nearly 22 years working for Spectrum Health where she was a dedicated employee who truly loved her job. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kelli (Kevin) Holtsclaw; son, Andrew Wiltjer; grandsons, Aiden and Braxton Wiltjer; granddaughter, Kolbie Holtsclaw; brother, Brian (Jennifer) Davis; sister-in-law, Misty Davis; mother, Sharon Kooiker; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. According to Jeri's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life is planned for a later date.
