IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffrey Stephen "Jeff"
Fecko
September 16, 1951 – January 4, 2021
Jeffrey (Jeff) Stephen Fecko, age 69, passed away in the comfort of his home on Monday, January 4, 2021. Jeff was born on September 16, 1951 in Cleveland, OH.
He spent much of his childhood on the baseball field and would gather cans with friends to buy tickets for Cleveland Indians games. He would go on to achieve his dream of coaching his high school baseball team. Jeff eventually moved to Grand Rapids, MI where he married his wife, Susan, on March 26, 1988. He was a loving husband and dad to his daughters Lauren and Allison. Jeff always made sure his family was taken care of and was there for every academic achievement, tennis match, or professional milestone. Spending time with family each day was important, including having "the holy family dinner" every weeknight, which included his famous Spaghetti Wednesdays. He loved family vacations and trips in retirement with his wife, Susan. He further relished retirement by spending time golfing and brewing beer. Jeff enjoyed spending summers at the cottage in South Haven, MI, where his favorite moments were catching up with relatives on the front porch and watching sunsets. Christmas was his favorite holiday and he looked forward to celebrating with his family in Cleveland each year.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Fecko, daughters, Lauren and Allison Fecko, stepfather, Ronnie Fox, and siblings Peter Fecko, Linda (Rich) Kraus, and Tami Fecko.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is planning to have a memorial service once it is safe for everyone to get together. Memorial contributions in Jeff's honor can be made out to the End Brain Cancer / Chris Elliott Fund by sending a check to 16150 NE 85th St., Suite #201, Redmond, WA 98052.
