Jeffrey George Atkinson of Holland was called home to the Lord on September 20, 2019. Born in Grand Rapids, MI on November 12, 1943, he attended Western Michigan University and spent his career working for National Starch and Chemical Company in Finderne, New Jersey. He was a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Holland. He is survived by his wife Sharon Wohlhueter Atkinson and two sons, Matthew Atkinson of Holland and James and Karen Atkinson of Kalamazoo. A Celebration of his life will be held at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3151 120th Ave, Holland, MI on Saturday October 19 at 4:00. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the youth group at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church.
