Jeffery Lee Cheek, aged 34, of Wyoming Michigan passed away unexpectedly in his Wyoming home on Wednesday, September 14,2022 from natural causes.

Jeff will be lovingly remembered by his parents Mary and Randy Cheek; his sister Teresa (Brad) Robinson; his grandmother Lela Zydor; and many aunts, uncles, cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobbie and Eugene Cheek and Richard Zydor.

Jeffery was born on November 30, 1987 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from Pine Grove Learning Center in Grand Rapids. He spent his free time enjoying outings in the community. Also, he enjoyed volunteering at the Humane Society and being able to have those interactions with the animals.

Jeff was a devoted son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed going on community outings which included going to restaurants, the grocery store, and the shopping malls. Jeff enjoyed celebrating the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. His favorite holiday season is Christmas. He really enjoys Santa Claus and Christmas trees.

A private visitation for immediate family will be held at Ofield Funeral Home in his birthplace of Grand Rapids, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave. Se, Kentwood, MI 49508. Memorial contributions can be made to the Special Olympics of Michigan.
