Jean Ann Dale, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on January 9th, 2022, surrounded by her family. Jean Ann was born June 29, 1945 in Charlevoix, MI to the late Herman and Ramona (Lee) Manning. Jean Ann was the eldest daughter of twelve children born in Charlevoix, Michigan. Her childhood years were spent in Ravenna, MI. She graduated from Orchard View High School in Ravenna, Michigan.

Jean Ann was married to the late Ahlan Dale, who preceded her in death on January 18, 2008. Jean and Ahlan were married on February 14, 1986 where they made a home on the river on the north side of Grand Rapids. She will be remembered by her friends and family as fun-loving with a great sense of humor, and an infectious laugh. Her greatest joys came from loving and caring for those around her. Jean Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved fishing, taking drives to the lakeshore to watch the waves, and serene fires along the river.

Jean Ann will be dearly missed and forever loved by her son, Rodney Fisher; daughter, Gina (husband, Tom) Fisher-Coutchie; step-daughter; Chris (Tim) VanderBand; grandchildren; Taylor and Kayla Fisher, Parker Thomas, Trace and Isaac Phillips, Tasha Mohnke, Anthony Winters and Jamie Zichterman; sisters, Gale Beals, Cheryl Manning, Peggy Carter, Lynette (husband, John) Hatchew, and Jacqueline Stoken;, and beloved nieces, nephews, and special friends. She is also survived by her beloved pets; Sam and Mr, Big.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jean Ann was also preceded in death by brothers, Herman, Virgil, Robert and Edward (Bud), and sisters, Katherine and Anna Schelling and step daughter, Cindy Zichterman Bird.
