Jay Alan Hildebrand, 64, Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away at 7:46 am, Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on September 3, 1959, in Fulton County Indiana, the son of Dallas and Audrey (Perdue) Hildebrand.

Graduate of Rochester High School, Class of 1977. ITT Technical Institute Graduate 1979. He was a lead guitarist of the band Ridge Rock in the 80s. He moved to Michigan in 1987. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 357 of Kalamazoo, MI for 35 years. Jay enjoyed playing his guitars, softball, bowling, golf, horseshoes, and driving his Corvette.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Sandy Hildebrand and their dog Tank; his parents, grandparents and brother-in-law, Mic Cox. He is survived by his sisters, Janet Cox, and Joyce (Jerry) Ginther; his step mother, Judie Hildebrand; his children, Misti and Matthew Hildebrand and their mother; his grandchildren, Kegan (Taylor) Fisher and Matilyn Hildebrand; his great grandchild Rhett Fisher and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for close family and friends.
