Janet Marian (Schlumm-Schultz-Taylor) Williams, 62, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away at 9:47p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2024 surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 1, 1962, the daughter of Lela Ward Schlumm (preceded her in death) and Christopher and Norma (also preceded in death) Schlumm of Hillsdale, MI.

Janet is survived by her companion and husband of 21 years, Jerome Williams of Kalamazoo, MI.

She was mother to daughter, Tara Lee Schultz-Hornbeck; grandmother to Leela Hornbeck, Allen Hornbeck, Jerry Hornbeck, and Amber (Hornbeck)  Roseke; and great-grandmother to Rylie Davis-Roseke, Ava Roseke, and Aria Hornbeck; all of Bunker Hill, IL.

She was sister to Christopher (Rhonda) Schlumm of St. Louis, MO, Geri (Schlumm; Daniel) Lewis of Four Oaks, NC, Anthony (Shane) Schlumm of Coldwater, MI, and Daniel (Malinda) Schlumm of Homer, MI and was aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Janet will be laid to rest along side her mother on September 21, 2024 in Lead Hill, AR.
