Janet Hermenet of Caledonia, MI passed away peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2020 with her family by her side. In 2018, Janet moved from Canandaigua, NY to be closer to her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she cherished time with her family and friends. Janet also felt a great deal of joy and appreciation serving through volunteer work.

Janet is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gene; sons David (Jill) and Dale (Kim); grandchildren Matthew, Joseph (Lauren), Jennifer (Robert Benson), Jordon and Cali; great grandchild Baylor; brother Donald (Jackie) Walker and was predeceased by her brother Alvah Walker.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: First Congregational Church, 58 N. Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424 in memory of Janet Hermenet. Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Simply Cremation and Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI.
