IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janet
Fralic
June 22, 1933 – March 10, 2023
Janet "Jan" Fralic age 89, passed away March 10, 2023 at her home in Holland, MI. She was born to Grace and Earl Hoover on June 22, 1933 in Toledo, OH; the 2nd of seven children.
Jan was beloved by many. Her warm hospitality and homemade walnut raisin pies were legendary. She enjoyed being active and when not cleaning or working in the yard, she was an avid neighborhood badminton player. Her finesse at rolling dice during board games caused much laughter around the table. She could spout tongue twisters, and loved to talk about Jesus. Jan's Christian faith was an essential part of her life. She loved leading Bible studies, as well as being a speaker for Stonecroft Ministries. In her testimony she would share that during her life she had worn many hats; elevator operator, cowboy clothes model, Avon lady, and bed and breakfast proprietor. Her favorite occupation and the one she felt that she'd been created for was being a mother. Her love continued to expand as she became a grandmother and great grandmother.
Jan is survived by her brothers Butch, Danny and Jimmy Hoover. Her children, Rusty and Judee Fralic of Hart, MI, Jody and Vic Winstrom of Holland, MI and Tomi and Joe Bystrom also of Holland, as well as daughter-in-law Katie Fralic Coninger of NC.
Grandchildren, Jeremiah(Olivia)Fralic, Jessica(Garrett)Miller, Layna(Bill) Howland, Mark (Sara) Fralic, Jami Winstrom, Luke(Sara)Winstrom, Johanna Bystrom, Kenaniah Bystrom and Isaiah Bystrom.
Eighteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dale, sons Kerry and Jon Fralic, daughter in law Dixie, and siblings Richard and John Hoover and Margaret Salter.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Holland for their support; in particular Deanna for her amazing care of Jan.
The family will be hosting a celebration of Jan's life at a future date.
