James Robert Pierce, age 80 of White Cloud, passed away on November 9, 2022 at Butterworth Hospital following a brief illness. James was born April 28,1942 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Robert and Maxine (Janousky) Pierce. Jim moved to White Cloud in the mid-1970's and resided there until his passing. Jim worked as a tool and die maker for several years in the Muskegon area until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and quiet drives looking for deer. In his younger days he enjoyed riding motorcycles competitively and played a mean game of hockey.

Jim is survived by his loving fiancé, Kimberly Palmero of White Cloud; his children and grandchildren, Kristin (Arnie) Sutcliffe of Bremerton WA and their children Joseph Sutcliffe of Bremerton WA and Erin (Mick) Polillo of East Bremerton WA; Robert (Amy) Pierce of White Cloud and their children Amanda Davis Sutcliffe and Ian Pierce both serving in the US Navy; his sisters Diane Hughes of Chelsea MI and Tylene (Rick) Allen of Chelsea MI; several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy (Scheibach) Pierce.
