James Earl Phillips - July 23,1963 to January 14, 2021. Jim went to be with our heavily father after a long battle with multiple cancers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Beatrice (Traxler) Phillips. He was survived in death by his daughter Desiree Phillips, and grandsons Braylon, and Kylan Dekkinga. He was also survived by his sisters Patti (Ray) Vandervelde, Bonnie Hinton, and his brothers Don (Stella) Phillips and Tom (Sue) Phillips, many nieces and nephews, and his many friends who lived on Maston Lake. Jim was a 1981 graduate of Rogers high school where he was able to show his athleticism and ability on the rings. His favorite thing was having his cats roam around the campground while he fished in the early morning. He loved taking the freshly caught fish, cleaning them up and having himself a fish fry. Those who had the pleasure of interacting with him loved his sense of humor and kind heart. He will be deeply missed.
