James Timm McReynolds, born September 13,1945 died on Saturday, December 31, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. His wife was blessed to care for him with help from Corewell Hospice.

Beloved husband to Vickie, cherished father to Travis, Erin (Brock) Schuiteman, Kevin McReynolds; Papa to Zyon McReynolds, Kai and Asa Schuiteman; brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and great friend. Timm was a successful sales rep, gregarious server, successful Scout leader, soccer coach, and an extraordinarily good guy. Born in Detroit, MI. Married in 1969 and moved to Grand Rapids with his bride. His lifelong friendships witness the pleasure of knowing and loving Timm. Two years ago, he discovered two half-sisters, Pat and Joy who have enriched his life. We deeply miss Timm's presence yet know when we miss him most, he will be loving us in his new heavenly body.  If you are so inclined, a contribution made to the Multiple System Atrophy Coalition will aid in research. Timm has donated his brain to the University of Michigan Brain Bank as his legacy to beat this wicked disease. The family will greet visitors from 10am-11am, at Immaculate Heart of Mary.  A Mass of Christian burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church is planned for Thursday, January 11th, 2024, at 11:00am, luncheon at the church to follow.
