James (Jim) Wendall Karel, 65, of Grand Rapids, MI passed away peaceful next to his wife on Jan 31st 2021 at Butterworth Hospital.

Jim was born in Grand Rapids MI to Eugene and Helen Karel on Nov 22nd 1955. Jim was happily married to Mary Karel for 3yrs who was his partner in life for 13 yrs at the time of his death.

Jim is survived by his spouse, Mary Karel of Grand Rapids, his 3 children, his 4 siblings, his 3 step-children and his 3 step-grandchildren.

Visitation and Service will be held at United General Baptist Church/ Discovery Church on Feb 20th at 1pm with Pastor Josh White.

Memorial donations may be made to Mary Karel. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Cumbo-Nacheli for all he has done for Jim the last years of his life. Also to Josh White for offering services for the family and Simply Cremations for the offering their services.
