James (Jim) H. Jackson of Wyoming Michigan passed away Monday August 16, 2021 at the age of 89. He was born in Traverse City, Michigan and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Marjorie (Marge), his sister Suzanne MacAtee of Traverse City, 6 children, Patricia Haner (Kit) of Traverse City; Kaye Stroop (Sheldon) of Wyoming; Andrew Jackson of Wyoming; Ann Idalski of Wyoming; James F. Jackson of Wyoming; Mary Jackson of Wyoming, 9 grand children and 7 great grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 siblings and grandson. A memorial service is planned for Saturday August 21, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Pennellwood Church of God, 3459 Riser St. SW, Wyoming, Michigan 49548, followed by fellowship time. His final resting place will be Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Traverse City.
