James Essenburg Junior of Holland, MI age 78 passed away on September 12, 2021. He was born to James and Geneva Essenburg in Holland, MI on September 7, 1943.

James is survived by his son and daughter in law Greg and Donna Essenburg and daughter and son in law Stephen and Laurie MacBride, grandchildren Danielle (Nick) Kuiper, Megan (Sam) Biggio, Jenna Essenburg, Nicholas Essenburg, great grandchildren Ellie, Declan, Cole and Emma. He is also survived by his sisters Marge (Ed) Driesenga, Sue (Tim) Wilson, Deb (Rog) Arendson, and Karen Woudstra.

James was preceded in death by his parents James and Geneva Essenburg, sister Ann Overkamp, and brother Randy Essenburg.

He never met a golf course he didn't like - some just didn't like him. He wasn't a fan of winter. He LOVED, LOVED, LOVED his children, grandchildren, and great grand children. He could give you directions to anywhere in the US. He didn't have much but what he did have he had a lot of. He would give you the shirt off his back.

Memorial Service will held on Saturday, September 18 at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Grafschaap Road, entrance D, Holland, MI 49423. Visitation with family will be from 10-11 am, service at 11 with a light luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Interim Hospice. Service Details. Visitation
