It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James (Jim) Davis, who passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 62.  Jim was born on November 1, 1960 and was a lifelong resident of Muskegon.

He was an "AVID OUTDOORSMAN". He loved fishing, hunting, hiking, camping and ANYTHING else he could do outdoors. He was extremely talented. Years ago he expressed such artistic talent that he created some very beautiful things. Things carved out of wood, amazing pictures of all varieties of artwork. But, most of all when he took his artistic talent to painting of hoods of vehicles, he just did it with such grace, and passion. That's what he did for fun, and he sure was amazing at it.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Dick Davis, his mother, Donna (Bayle) Davis, his sister, Brenda Puckett, and his sister, Beverly Snell. He is survived by his siblings, Diane Erickson, Butch Davis, John Davis, and Linda Castenada. He has several nieces and nephews including several great nieces and nephews, in which he enjoyed spending his time showing them all his sportsmanship qualities.

Jim will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and his kind and gentle spirit.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
