January 28, 2015 Service: February 5, 2015 James W. Berry Jr., age 67 departed this life on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Doris; daughters, Carmela Berry and Brandi (Charlie) Lovelady; six grand-children, Brandon, Bryan, Bryson, Charlie, Cameron and Christopher; five great grand-children, Kamari, Kylan, Carmelo, KaDon and Journi; two sisters, Dorothy (William) Fitzpatrick, Rosetta Williams, and Sherry (Glenn) Williams; brother, Bobby Berry; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. James was preceded in death by his son Michael, parents James and Georgia Berry, and brother Charlie. The family will meet with friends on Wednesday, February 4th at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo SE., from 1 to 3 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held 12 noon on Thursday, February 5th at Redeemed Baptist Church 1091 3 Mile NW, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Arthur Pearson, officiating. Interment Fort Custer National Cemetery.
