James Van Antwerpen, age 65 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his daughter, Susan Kerkstra, and his sister, Pamela Boersema.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Laurie. Daughter, Diana Brenner, Son-in-law Eric Kerkstra and his grandchildren, who were the loves of his life, Devin (Meghan) Kerkstra, Zachary Kerkstra, Alijah McBride, Isiaha Brenner and Josiah Brenner. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Gary Boersema and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Barb and Arlan Meekhof. As well as several nieces and nephews.
