James Alan Parker, age 83, passed away February 3, 2016 in Grand Rapids. James is survived by his sons, Steven James Parker and Mark Alan Parker, his grandson, James Alan Parker, and his great-granddaughter, Violet May Parker. James was preceded in death by his wife Beverly Jean Parker. James loved to ride dirt bikes, and rode until he was 75 years old. The family will greet friends and relatives at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave., Kentwood, on Saturday, February 13th from 10 am until noon with a lunch following.
