Jamel Marcus Parker, age 31 has left to be with our heavenly father. He is survived by his father, mother, sister, brother, and son. Jamel began his life at 3 pounds on June 6th. He grew into a fine man with a lot of friends, jokes, and love for life. He could make a person smile that didn't know him and make those around him understand the meaning of a good personality. He loved his family and never was afraid to show it. His laugh was contagious. His smile unforgettable. He was a great dad who thought the world of his son. He will be forever missed and thought of with every sunrise and sunset. A mystery remains on why you had to go, but we love you, Jamel, more than you'll ever know. A memorial will be held for Jamel on April 11th, 2017, at Kentwood Community Church 1200 60th St SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. Entrance "I". Visitation with family will begin at 1 p.m. and the memorial at 2 p.m.
