Jacqueline Rae John, age 92 of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis G. John, son Joseph M. Duba, grandson Deane Ledsworth, parents Maynard and Mildred Tucker, siblings Frank Tucker, Geraldine Peterson, Maynard "Skip" Tucker, Thomas Tucker and Diane Ross. Surviving are her children Julie (Deane) Ledsworth, Jennifer (Kevin) Duba-Scanlan, Jerry Duba, Jane (David) Hoekzema; grandchildren Nicholas Ledsworth, Chanda Ledsworth and Sarah Jane (Tyler) Boomsma; great granddaughters Tabatha (Elvis) Fetic, Genevieve Rae; great-great grandchildren Leo, Leilah, Lena and Zayn; many nieces and nephews. Jackie loved to play bingo, do puzzles and was always up to go out to eat! As an expert crocheter, she made hundreds of items (mostly baby blankets) over the years. She was a dedicated Detroit Tigers fan through the ups and downs and enjoyed watching U of M football.  She was a longtime resident of Cedar Springs, MI before moving to Grand Rapids and served in the Women's Auxilliary at VFW Post 287 in Cedar Springs.  She also enjoyed bowling and was a member of several leagues over the years. A Memorial Gathering will be held in Jackie's honor on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 3pm to 6pm at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue Southeast, Kentwood, Michigan 49508.
