Jacqueline M. Frost Andrus, born Febuary 16, 1929 in Otsego, Michigan to Basil "Jack" Frost and Hazel Brewster Kelly.
She graduated from Otsego High School in 1947, married Thomas J. Andrus III on September 5, 1947, and shared 60 years of love. They were graced with three sons, Thomas IV (Carol), Michael (Charlotte), and Randall (Lunn). Eight grandchildren, Thomas Andrus V (Jeff) and Stephanie. Julie (Patrick) Scribner, Delora (Mark) Lytle, Michelle (Todd) Roseboom, Heath Mauer (Tonya Topp), Cory (Kay) Andrus, Nicole Blackmon (Josh), Travis (Angella) Andrus, Twelve great-grandchildren, Payson Scribner, Austin (Abby) Roseboom, Lexi Roseboom, Lily Roseboom, Aubrielle Maurer, Sawyer Maurer, Taylor Modegill, Orion and Olivia Andrus, and Jessica and Justine Lytle as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jackie enjoyed reading novels, knitting (she knitted many large Christmas stockings over the years for many children), quilting by hand, digging and planting flowers in her lovely flower gardens, dancing and feeding the birds, squirrels and deer.
Jackie worked for the Allegan Post Office for 24 years as a rural carrier. She was the first woman sub-carrier and then regular carrier to work for Allegan. Most of all she loved baby sitting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved much by them and all and will be dearly missed.
Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband Tom (2007), her parents and a "special" step-father, Dominic Carta.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service set for a later date.
