Jacolyn L. Wright, age 80, of Belmont passed away Thursday, August 31st 2023. She was born April 05, 1943 in Jackson to Jack and Donna (McCuaig) Cooper. Although born in Jackson, Jacolyn spent her life growing up in Carson City.

Jacolyn is proceeded in death by her son, Ernest Wright, parents Jack Cooper and Donna and George Barrett, brothers, Stanley Cooper and Walter Barrett.

She is survived by her sister, Martha and her husband Gerald Bresky, brothers, Michael and his wife Sue Barrett and Matthew and his wife Shawn Barrett. Grandsons, Benjamin and his wife Chelsey Wright and Matthew Wright and step- grandson Paul Geldhof. Many nieces and nephews, and her beloved great- grandsons who she cared for dearly.

Jacolyn loved to spend time with her grandsons and great grandsons. She loved going out to lunch with friends and talking about her cats. She spent many years painting and sharing her art with others.

Jacolyn was a retired nurse. She served 30+ years working at the Grand Rapids Home for the Veterans. She loved her job and always loved to share her memories of it.

Her family would like to thank Spectrum Health Hospice for their care and compassion throughout this process.
