Jack Vincent died unexpectedly on February 2, 2016 at the age of 43. Jack is survived by his mother and stepfather, Laurie and Dale Rooks, his daughter, Nicole, and grandson, Dominic, his sister, Shannon Vincent, grandparents, Willis and Vivian Rooks, nephews, Marty Carr, Christian Salazar, and niece, Angela Salazar, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Marty Vincent, his grandparents, Shirley and Jack Vincent, Erma Barnhard, and Joseph H. Chenier, Sr. Jack was born on September 14, 1972. He graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with a degree in Culinary Arts. He had a passion for cooking and a love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed his time living in Denver, where he frequently went hiking and backpacking. Jack is known for his quiet demeanor and his peaceful and loving spirit. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. A memorial service will be held February 20, 2016 at Grandville Bible Church, 4122 44th Street SW, Grandville, MI from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
