Jack O. Powell aged 80, formerly of Bitely, Michigan, went to his heavenly home on June 19th, 2018 at Sentinel Pointe Retirement Community. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Powell, mother, Leota Powell and brother in law, Mel Wood. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn, sister, Bev Wood and brother, Dennis Powell (Nita), children, Karin (Ed) Smith, Robin (Harvey) Woodard, Kathy Duffield, Tammie (Bruce) Woodard, Terry (Brad) Woodard, Kelly (Hillary) Powell, and Annette (Mike ) LaPlante. Also surviving are his step-children, Merrie (Darrick) Nickoles, Sherry Granzotto, Kathy DeBruin, Susan (Greg) Shaffer, and Dolores Wierda. Loving grandfather to 26 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services are pending. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Michigan.
