Jack George Monroe Jr., age 55, of Grand Rapids, passed away on December 9, 2021, at Mercy Health Hospital due to COVID 19 induced pneumonia.

Jack was born on September 8, 1966, in Oklahoma City to Erma Lee Graham and Jack George Monroe Senior. He grew up with one brother Walter G. Monroe. As he got older, he attended Texas Tech college to study Meteorology and Realtor training. He was a recently licensed Home Inspector. Ultimately, he became a excellent optical technician.

No one who met Jack forgot his generosity and charisma. He was always helping and caring for everyone without expecting anything in return. His favorite things were golf, fishing, and playing the saxophone with his son.

Jack Monroe is survived by his ex-wife, Julie Esser de Monroe, along with his caring son, Justin Esteban Monroe. He was a proud father and uncle for all his loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his mother Erma, father Jack, and brother. Service Details.
