Obituary

Jack Allen Lofgren III passed away on a Tuesday afternoon after a long battle with illness. Jack was born at Saint Mary's Hospital and grew up in Grand Rapids. He went to Oakdale Christian as a teen then graduated from Union High. He played basketball and loved football. He was a great cook and made every holiday special with his sweet potatoes and marshmallows. Jack was greeted in heaven by his father Jack Lofgren II, his brother Samuel, and sister Amanda Jean. Jack left behind his two sons Jack and Alton Lofgren, His mother Janice Ambrose Lofgren, his brothers Matthew, Chad, and Joshua, their wives and all of his nieces and nephews. A service will be held on January 8th at Wesley Park United Methodist Church at two o'clock pm by Paster Dean Prentice. The address is 1150 32nd ST SW, Wyoming MI. Jack's infectious laugh and jokes were the life of any family get together. He loved his nieces and nephews with all of his heart and will be greatly missed by his family.
