J. Kyran Mulvihill, a proud Irishman, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2026.

He was born June 22, 1933 in Grand Rapids, MI. Kyran graduated from Catholic Central High School, class of 1951.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James P. and Norine M. (Fahey) Mulvihill, his first wife and mother of his children Nancy J. (Rumble) and spouse Catherine A. (Caldwell) Mulvihill. All eight of his siblings also passed before him.

Kyran is survived by his beloved children, Joseph K. & Susan, Michael, Catherine & Ken Kornoelje, Patrick and Thomas. Eight grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one more due in October also survive.

Kyran was a former Oldsmobile dealer and a nationally ranked Oldsmobile salesman. For many years was a member of the Kent County Sheriff’s Dept. Traffic Squad. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was an original member of the Dilly Wacker’s motorcycle club.

Kyran was a lifetime boater, enjoying time spent on the water.
