Idaila Ivette Vazquez Morales, age 44, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Thursday, Feb 3, 2022.
Idaila was born on July 7, 1977, in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Carlos Vazquez and Teresa Morales. She attended Alfa Omega Church, and enjoyed preaching the word of God in her everyday life. She was an excellent mom, grandmother, sister, and person.
Idaila will be missed dearly by her children: Isaiah Davis, Elijah Davis, Aaliyah Robertson, and Josaiah Robertson; grandchild, Royalty Davis; siblings: Annie Rivera, Carlos Vazquez, Jose M Vazquez, Pedro Vazquez, David Vazquez, Teresa Gonzalez, Migdalia Garcia, and Ramon Vazquez; best friend: Denise Beard; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Rosa Vazquez, Jose Vazquez, and Carmen Vazquez.
A funeral service will take place at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
