Cooper , Ida 3/21/1935 - 1/25/2020 Grand Rapids Ida Lyn Cooper (Cook) of Grand Rapids, Mi, went to her heavenly home on January 25, 2020. A true angel on earth, Ida lived a life of love and kindness. Everyone who met Ida remembers her and she met them with the biggest smile and the best hugs. She always found the good in everyone and made sure you knew what she loved about you . The world is a better place because she was here. Her loving parents Oscar and Nina Cook welcomed her to heaven. Continuing to love and miss her are her husband of 63 years, Jack Cooper, their daughter Deb Cooper-Silha (Jay), son Randy Cooper (Wendy), 4 grandchildren Katherine Fish (Nick), Michael and Bridget Silha and Maya Cooper, and 3 great granddaughters, Riley, Sophia and Madison. Her sister, Nancy Burton, many nieces and nephew, sister in law Judi Rabbai and countless friends. Services will be hel Saturday, February 1,2020 at Park Church in downtown Grand Rapids. Visitation at 10:00, service at 11:00 followed by a celebration of life luncheon. In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Santa Claus Girls of Grand Rapids (who brought Christmas gifts to her when she was young)
