Leo graduated to his heavenly home on June 9, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Leo was born June 26, 1946 to Mary and Hugh William Ryan in Midland, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Ann (Ryan) Gardner and twin brother Hugh William Ryan. Leo will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 41 years Patricia Ryan, daughter Shannon Bouwens, grandchildren Justin Leo Ryan Sims (Christie Berry), Sarena (Kelly) Mills, Daniel Bouwens, Christina (Scott) Lasher & Chad Bouwens, great-grandchildren Briana, Jacob, Jocelyn, Carter & Lincoln, sister Mary (Lynn) Charron and many nieces and nephews. Leo loved computers and was an IT Manager for many years at Behler Young and S. Abraham & Sons Inc. Leo was very involved with his church , Rivertown Assembly of God and donated many of his Saturdays to feeding the homeless at Street Light Ministries. In his spare time Leo loved bowling, golf, billiards, collecting sports cards and coins. Leo also loved family game nights and watching his beloved Chicago Bears! Leo will best be remembered for his zest for life, quick wit , gentle humor and his abundance of love towards others. Cremation has taken place and a gathering is planned to celebrate Leo's life on Tuesday, June 28th at Rivertown Assembly of God Church in Grandville, Michigan with Pastor Keith Berquist presiding. Family will meet visitors at 1:30pm, with celebration beginning at 2:00pm. Service Details.
