November 18, 2014 Service: November 24, 2014 Howard F. Short age 88, of Kentwood left the earthly home on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Lois June Short and their children: Janet and William Morton, Kathy Beurkens, Sandy and Randy Hendrick, Lea and Robert Bolt, Richard Homrich, Wendy and Rod Tasker, Terrance and Judy Wexel, Steve Wexel, Cathy Reifsynder, Daniel and Laurie Wexel, Patricia Wexel; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Lee Short. He spent 17 years as Western Michigan Director of the American Diabetes Association; previously he served as a Methodist Pastor to churches in Massachusetts and Michigan. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, November 24 at Faith Reformed Church 618 32nd Street in Wyoming, with Pastor Bruce Osbeck officiating The family will meet with relative and friends from 1-3 pm prior to the service.
