Hope Ellen Monroe age 74 died May 28, 2016 Born and raised in Detroit, MI she was a graduate of Commerce H. S. She moved to Millington, MI in the 1970's and worked at St Joseph Hosp in Flint until she retired. Hope enjoyed Bowling, Golfing Traveling and was a Jigsaw Puzzle Master.. She moved to the Grand Rapids area in 2008 to be with her sisters. She is survived by her siblings, Marvin Monroe (Mary Pat), Patrick Monroe (Kate), Mary Kay O'Neil, and Georgia Monroe. She dearly loved her nieces and nephews. Hope also had many wonderful friends, old and new, and cherished those relationships. There will be two memorial services. Noon on June 19th at Unity Center for Spiritual Growth, 6025 Ada Dr. Ada MI 49301 and 11:00 am June 27th at St Francis Catholic Church, 153 W. Maple St Vassar MI 48768.
