Helena Jasko Dixon, age 82, of Rockford passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Medilodge of Grand Rapids. Helena was born "Yelena" on May 22, 1941 in Minsk (Belarus). Helena and her family immigrated into Canada in 1948 by way of Poland and Germany. She graduated from high school in London Ontario, Canada.

Helena is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Dan'l Dixon, two step-daughters, Yvette Dixon Hutton and Pauli Dixon Posey (Mark), step grand children Royia Hope (David), Jason Rozati, Kayla Clayton (Drew), Josh Posey (Morghan), step great-grandchildren, Nathan Hope, West Clayton, Sidon Posey, Anna Capri Posey, Asher Posey and half-sister Margaret Ryan. She was preceded in death by her mother Tatjana Bartkewicz Jasko, step-father Michael Jasko and step-daughter Nan Dixon.

Helena was employed by HH Cutler Company, American Seating and Perrin Sportswear. She was an avid reader, a master of crochet and a skilled Bridge player. A lover of antiques, flowers and birds, she filled
her home with amazing history and beautiful reflections of her passions.

A private family memorial will be held for Helena. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Interim Healthcare Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org).
