March 3, 2012 Service: March 24, 2012 Helen (DeVos) Bosscher, age 99, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Al G. Bosscher, daughter, Janice Clappison and son-in-law, Karl Herwig MD. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Herwig of Salana Beach, CA, and Lynn and Dennis Brown of Holland; son-in-law, Frank Clappison of Farmington, MI; grandchildren, Susan (Gary) Ikeda, Robert (Lori) Herwig, John (Misha) Clappison, Dan (Tara) Clappison, Gretchen (Jason) Meier, David (Amy) Brown, Tom (Krista) Brown; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Helen Bosscher will be held on Saturday, March 24th at 1:00pm in the chapel at Porter Hills Presbyterian Village, with visitation from 12-1pm before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Fund at Porter Hills or Spectrum Health Hospice.
