Harvey Fredrik Dean, aged 52 days, passed away at the Helen Devos Children's Hospital on November
3rd, 2023.  Harvey means "strong in battle" and there isn't a better name for him.  He fought and
overcame so many challenges and continued to fight until the very end.

Harvey is the son of Rachel and Cody Dean and brother of Archer Dean. He loved skin to skin time with
mom and dad and holding his brother's finger. He loved all the attention from his nurses and would
often drop his stats as soon as they left the room, only to bounce back up as soon as they rushed back
in. He hated his breathing tube and loved to try and grab it, which was another fun game he played with
his nurses.  We think he loved Batman, but really, he probably just loved his big brother and agreed to
dress up like him for Halloween.  He touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.

There will be a time of visitation from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service on Saturday,
November 11th, 2023, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49508.

Family requests that people in attendance not wear black, but whatever color makes them the happiest.

Those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to the
Child Life Program at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
