IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harold
Miller
September 13, 1942 – August 31, 2024
Harold Howard Miller, lovingly known as "Bud" or "Uncle Bud," passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on August 31, 2024, at the age of 81. Bud was a cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Born on September 13, 1942, Bud grew up with a deep appreciation for hard work and family. A skilled carpenter, his handiwork can be found in countless homes from Orangeville to Marcellus and beyond. Bud found joy in the great outdoors, spending his happiest days riding four-wheelers, fishing, and hunting. He also had a deep love for classic rock music, which often filled the air around his barn or workbench. Above all, he treasured time spent with his four grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and happiness.
Bud was an admirer of the turtle, a symbol of knowledge and wisdom, he filled his home with hundreds of turtle figurines that he collected from all over the country. He will be remembered for his magical green thumb that added beauty everywhere, his gift for storytelling, and his unwavering ability to make everyone feel like a friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Dorothy (Gessler) Miller, and his brother, Richard (Dick) Miller.
Bud is lovingly remembered by his children: Theresa (Todd) Bloomberg, Crystal (Candice) Czubernat and Matthew Miller; his grandchildren: Alexis and Hannah Bloomberg and Dylan and Deacon Czubernat; and his sister, Nancy (Ron) Bushhouse. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends who will deeply miss his presence.
A celebration of Bud's life will be held on December 28 from 12–3 p.m. at the Orangeville Township Hall (7350 Lindsay Rd, Plainwell, MI 49080). Snacks will be provided. Come and celebrate Bud with us.
