Harold Richard Long (Aka Harry, Papa) of Grandville, MI, age 65, passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2022.

Harry's unique and gentle soul left a lasting impression with many who knew him well. Harry had a way with words and a wonderful outlook on life; with his realistic sense of humor, he continuously made people laugh. He was a skilled handyman who used his knowledge to help others. Those close to him saw a caring individual who checked in on relatives and helped with projects. Harry loved nothing more than spending time with his children, grandchildren, and favorite dog, Cookie. Harry was a special man, a loving and amazing father and husband. He was truly one of a kind and we will all miss him dearly.

Harry is survived by his beloved wife Brenda; loving children Nikkole (Robert) Lankford, Travis Long, Rachel (Brian) Faberge; grandchildren Hannah, Greyson, Emma, Emerson, and Ivy; Stepmother Elaine Detrich-Long; and sisters Michelle (Sean) Starke, Mary Long and Alicia Klumpp. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Long and Alice Long Klumpp.

The family would like to thank all their loving family and friends for their continued thoughts and prayers, as well as Spectrum Health Hospice for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
